I don't usually share pictures of my cats, they're both just cats, regular old cats (they are pretty young not old in age). One is a healthy boy and active as hell (Bento) that is 1.5 years old. The other is a more calm with small bursts of activity due to her heart murmur (Esper) that is 2.5 years old.

I thought I'd write a post about them both so they are somewhere in my digital garden, so behold these two cats.

Esper

Her name is Esper, short for Espresso (at the time I was really into coffee when naming her). Her character is quite loud and vocal, she talks a lot, and if not met with her demands will talk your ear off if needed. She likes to be held like a baby and doesn't bite or growl at humans. Though at her brother Bento or the vet? Hell comes loose and the demons come out.

Bento

His name is Bento, for being food motivated and always hungry even when full! He is quite chubby in that picture, but it is an older one, he has since lost weight, down to 5kg :). He was at a time I believe 5.5kg or 6kg which was quite heavy, you would feel a brick if he decided to cuddle with you. He is not as talkative his sister but he knows how to talk when he is hangry. He thinks he is still small so he is very much a "shoulder" cat like a parrot, but that does not work anymore as he has grown bigger.

When I first had gotten Esper, being always at work from 9 to 5 and coming home tired, she was very needy and always wanted attention, so my thought was let me get another friend for her to chill with when I am not around. In theory that did work but the result was sometimes they both become needy and want attention which resulted in more attention seeking. I would say 98% of the time I am happy with them and they are cute and all, but that 2%? I would throw them out the window heh.

They do not contribute to the rent, bills or even food! All they do is eat, drink, litter, and sleep. Cats have it pretty easy, I wouldn't mind maybe trading roles with them. They do live like king and queen, only eat the "highest" quality and "healthy" food and their water must be refreshed 4-5 times a day, otherwise they are not happy.
