A few folks from omg.lol are joining WeblogPoMo 2024 which is setup and organized by Apple Annie. It sounded fun so I thought I would also join as it might help me write more!

What is WeblogPoMo you might ask? It stands for Weblog Posting Month. Daily in the month of May I will be trying to write something and publishing it to my site. You can read all the posts under my #WeblogPoMo2024 tag and or subscribe to my RSS or JSON feed.

You can read more about the WeblogPoMo on the page Annie has setup, she encourages people to choose a guiding topic for the month. I have thought about it pretty long and hard but I was out of ideas on what topic I should cover for an entire month.

Instead of one single topic or ideas for the whole month and writing about it, I am going to just fill randomly throughout the month of different topics, I recently moved so there is a bunch of DIY projects I would like to do and finish, that is one for example, I have some personal topics, technology topics, silly and dumb topics as well.

Will each post every day be long and detailed? Not sure, some might be simple one paragraph, but my aim is to at least publish one post a day for WeblogPoMo 2024. I have already 2 drafts ready to go for May 1st and May 2nd, but I think I am going to stop writing drafts and write the post itself on the same day and or the night before, I feel like I will be more fresh on ideas and energy about it, plus it would help me do more writing than just drafting 31 posts ahead of time and letting them auto publish.

Obviously this post wont count towards the log, I am looking forward to it and I am also excited to see what the other participants are going to be posting!
